SAFEGUARDING

• Focus: Specifically focused on protecting individuals from harm and abuse, with an emphasis on creating a safe environment.
• Responsibilities: Serves as the primary point of contact for safeguarding concerns for our athlete-students, staff, and parents regarding safety and protection issues. Provides training on safety practices.

• Focus: Primarily concerned with the overall well-being of individuals, addressing a wide range of issues such as mental health, physical health, and general welfare. Fluent in English, Spanish and French.
• Responsibilities: Provides support and guidance on personal issues, ensuring access to necessary resources, and promoting a healthy environment.

• Focus: Overseeing first aid arrangements and ensuring compliance with the first aid policy. Trained in first aid and fluent in English, Spanish and French.
• Responsibilities: Liaising with emergency services when required. Ensuring adequate supplies of medical materials in first aid kits and replenishing them regularly.

• Focus: Oversees the academy's emergency preparedness and response, ensuring the safety and well-being of students, staff and visitors during emergencies. Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Responsibilities: Manages the development and implementation of emergency protocols, coordinates communication during incidents.

• Focus: Oversees the residential environment, ensuring a supportive and structured setting for students. Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Responsibilities: Manages daily routines, enforces rules, and provides guidance and support to students in the accommodation.
